Cultivated Blooms, Curated Beauty

Laura and Adrienne are like-minded flower growers and seasonal florists and have chosen to combine their talents to offer a bespoke floral design service for those choosing to get married at Tewinbury and other local wedding venues in and around Hertfordshire.

Our main distinguishing factor is that we grow for your occasion and truly root your special day in the season it is set – creating unforgettable scented memories that bloom every anniversary.

Adrienne

‘I am a passionate advocate of British grown flowers and strongly believe that they are more beautiful and fragrant than imported varieties. Why settle flowers flown from far flung parts of the world when they are grown on your doorstep?

I have a more relaxed and naturalistic style of floristry and growing my own flowers gives me the freedom to express a more ‘wild and whimsical’ aesthetic using the odd wonky stem and even foraged elements from the wider landscape.’

Having retrained as a season-led florist at the School of Sustainable Floristry Adrienne founded of Flower Buds having retrained as a season-led florist at the School of Sustainable Floristry. She is the resident flower farmer at Tewinbury Farm Hotel with an acre site overlooking the banks of the Mimram. Growing seasonal flowers and foliage, she is perfectly placed to offer a less conventional option to couples getting married with perhaps a more environmentally conscious approach.

She is a member of Flowers from the Farm, a UK trade association promoting a shift away from imported flowers to an environmentally sustainable local cut flower industry. This is a community that can supply flowers from other local growers if the need arises for an event.

She will guide you through the design process for your wedding and create a truly personal and unique floral design to celebrate not just your special day but the very season it is set in.

Laura

‘My style is wild, romantic, and nature led. I love creating arrangements that feel relaxed and abundant while still reflecting the personality, story, and circumstances of each client.

Whether I’m designing flowers for a wedding, an intimate event, or a special celebration, I believe floristry should feel personal and authentic. I’m also passionate about making beautiful flowers accessible, and I’m always happy to work with smaller budgets to create something truly special without losing impact or atmosphere.’

Laura, inspired by her mum, who worked as a florist for more than 15 years, founded Grafton Flowers to create meaningful, sustainable floristry with a personal touch. She retrained at both McQueens in Mayfair and The Cambridge Flower School to refine her technical knowledge and creative style.

Working from her home studio in Hertford, she grows many of her own flowers to order, using seasonal blooms that naturally reflect the time of year. Sustainability sits at the heart of everything she does, from choosing locally grown flowers where possible to creating designs that work in harmony with the seasons rather than against them.

Alongside her own work, she is proud to collaborate with Adrienne of Flower Buds at Tewinbury, where they work together to create seasonal floral designs for weddings. Together, they share a love for natural, season-led floristry inspired by the surrounding countryside.
